Craniosacral Therapy is a very gentle, non-invasive touch technique based upon the belief that our bodies know how to heal and will if given the appropriate assistance.  By using their palpation skills the Craniosacral therapist can listen to the body and then assist in the release of restrictions.  These restrictions are the result of trauma either physical or emotional.  The Craniosacral therapist evaluates the body for restrictions, finds the areas of imbalance and works to correct them.  Patients often report feelings of deep relaxation during and after the treatment session.

Craniosacral Therapy is effective in the treatment of:

  • Chronic Pain
  • Anxiety
  • Headaches
  • Stress
  • Neck and Back Pain
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Insomnia

VISCERAL MANIPULATION (ORGAN SPECIFIC FASCIA RELEASE)
Pain management is achieved through the release of fascia restrictions in and around the internal organs such as the stomach, liver, gallbladder and appendix. This is achieved through gentle hands on therapy on organ tissues and their attachments.

Visceral Manipulation (VM) offers effective pain relief for conditions such as:

  • Digestive disorders
  • Menstrual dysfunction
  • Car accident injuries
  • Work and sports injuries
  • Post- surgery
  • Stress-related conditions

VERTIGO
Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is a condition where the crystals of the inner ear become displaced causing movement of inner ear hair cells that are responsible for balance and spatial orientation. The displacement of these crystals can cause ongoing dizziness and nausea with positional changes. Acute and chronic cases of BPPV can be treated using an effective technique, often with immediate results.

If you are suffering from ongoing dizziness, an assessment will determine whether this form of treatment will be helpful for you.

ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is based on the theory that there are lines of energy, called chi, flowing through the body, in specific pathways called meridians. Disease or pain results when this energy is disrupted, weakened, or stagnant or the meridian becomes blocked. The flow of energy can be rebalanced and freed by inserting needles just below the surface of the skin into specific points on the body.

Acupuncture can be used to treat mental emotional, and physical conditions such as:

  • Tennis and Golfer’s elbow
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Back and neck pain
  • Headaches
  • Menstrual cramps
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Post surgery pain
  • Trigger points
  • Anxiety
  • Herniated and bulging discs
