Conventional Physiotherapy

123ONE TO ONE REHABILITATION
All Physiotherapy sessions are offered in a private one to one setting, which ensures dedicated care for your specific needs.

THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE PROGRAMS
The goal of a therapeutic exercise program can involve preventing further injury by slowing deterioration of muscles and bones during a disease process such as osteoporosis or osteoarthritis, rebuilding strength after an injury or illness, or promoting health and wellness.

ULSTRASOUND
Ultrasound promotes soft tissue healing by sending sound waves into the tissues, causing them to vibrate. The pores in the cells open, allowing healing chemicals and increased blood flow into the injured area. These internal changes create optimal conditions for accelerated tissue healing.

PARAFFIN WAX BATH
Paraffin wax is heated and used for relieving arthritic, and post- surgical pain and tightness due to scarring.

MICRO-CURRENT
Micro-current is similar to the natural current found in tissue cells. It acts to recalibrate the cells to their natural state of electrical activity. This promotes healing because normal electrical function is restored. Micro-current can be used to treat muscle strains and pains and is used for balancing Acupuncture Meridians.

TENS (TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL NERVE STIMULATION)
A pulsed low frequency current is applied through the skin to assist with acute and chronic pain management. It can be used for several conditions including headaches, nerve pain, muscle and bone pain, post surgical and arthritis pain.

INTERFERENTIAL CURRENT (IFC)
IFC assists in increasing blood flow and healing chemicals to the area needing repair. It can be effective in the treatment of knee pain, low back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain.

ELECTRICAL MUSCLE STIMULATION (EMS)
EMS is used to re-educate muscles that have been weakened or damage due to injury, nerve irritation, stroke or disease, and post surgical repair.

BIOFEEDBACK (BF)
Biofeedback is used to re-train weakened muscles that have undergone nerve damage post-stroke and post-surgery, to retrain muscles after a sports injury and or to train disabled muscles due to disease. BF allows the client to monitor their ability to properly activate muscles and log results of their improvements across sessions.
